Christmas Decorations
On Tuesday evening Trout came home with the most amazing surprise for me…

… our very own REAL Christmas tree!! Can you see a cheeky Rasputin lurking behind it?
It was so sweet! We got on with decorating the tree, and the rest of the flat.

We didn’t have anything to put on the top of the tree – so Trout crowned it with this heart-shaped decoration ♥ We also have Rasputin’s stocking and Chilly Willy, which I won 2 years ago in a competition at work. I won the prize for Best Dressed as I came to work dressed as a Christmas Tree.

While I was Christmas shopping last weekend I treated myself to a new candle from the Country Candle Company - I chose Warm Ginger, which is just so beautiful. It fills the whole of our lounge with beautiful, Christmas scent, I am so in love! I also have this sweet little candle display which I bought a few years ago.

To start the Christmas festivities we organised a Christmas Movie evening last night, and a few friends came round for some party food, plenty of port and to watch Jingle all the Way. It was so much fun! Although my head is a little sore today! Rasputin made sure he got the best seat for the movie, and we tucked into plenty of nibbles. The empty bowls were soon filled with Indian and Chinese snacks, (vegan) sausage rolls, onion rings and petite pains. And yes, that popcorn is sweet & salty flavoured! The best!

Have you decorated your house yet? How do you like to enjoy the run-up to Christmas?

Eeee your little tree looks gorgeous!! Cats are little monkeys around trees so watch out hehe!! That ginger candle sounds lovely..I love the smell of ginger so much <3 That's so cute that you had a movie night haha! Looks like you had such a good spread of food…sweet and salty is the way to gooo!
I haven't bothered to decorate my flat..I don't know why but I guess I don't quite see it as 'home' but I'll be going home for Christmas and my mum has decorated the whole house beautifully so that will get my Christmas spirits up
I remember you winning That penguin and his name is Chilly Willy lol
Oh gawd, my silly port-induced fog brain! Of course he is not a snowman haha x
Loving your tree.! One day I want a real tree, but our fake one is still going strong so it seemed a waste to get a real one this year.
what a lovely tree – love the cinammon and gingerbread man
I love having little buffets at christmas and sitting around lazily with friends and family, nibbling and drinking wine

Your tree is so cute!!!
